The University of Oklahoma Foundation has surpassed a five-year investment performance goal, rising to the top quartile of 26 peer institutions reporting to the UFFO (University Foundation Financial Officers) network. In 2008, the Foundation began a strategic restructuring of the investment process to provide consistent above-median annual returns while mitigating risk through a diverse allocation of assets and broader range of fund managers.

Fiscal Year 2013 marked the first time since implementation that Foundation investment performance could be measured over a five-year period. The OU Foundation ranked in the top 8th percentile of UFFO institutions over the trailing five years. In addition FY 2013 produced a 14.3% return on the OU Foundation’s endowment portfolio, compared to the UFFO average of 11.7%.
