After a disappointing loss in the Big 12 Tournament, OU Coach Sherri Coale’s women’s basketball team came roaring back through the NCAA first and second rounds in Iowa City, then blew through the Oklahoma City Regional, downing Pittsburgh and Purdue to reach the Final Four in St. Louis for the first time since 2002. The Sooners finished the season 32-5 as the Paris twins, Courtney and Ashley, and team captain Carolyn Winchester closed out their collegiate careers.
