Gifts of art and collectibles will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Such gifts must be:
 Accompanied by a qualified appraisal, a photograph
and supporting material, such as authentication papers; and
 Of sufficient interest to the University in its normal course of
business to further the mission of the Universtiy.

How to send gifts
Send donor's name, qualified appraisal and donor's intentions regarding use of gift to the Foundation.
Donor or donor's representative will be contacted about transferring the gift if accepted by the Investment Committee or the appropriate University department or area. The donor is responsible for any packing, shipping, in-transit security and insurance costs, unless otherwise agreed to by the Foundation.
Gift acknowledgment
The Foundation will send an acknowledgment of the gift upon acceptance and receipt of the property.
IRS Forms: Donors need to complete IRS Form 8283,available from the IRS. The Foundation files Form 8282 with the IRS and provides a copy to the donor if the Foundation sells the property within two years.
